Magee Point Associates.
Bill Benedict is the managing partner of Magee Point Associates, LLC. They are developing Magee Point Landing located on 65 Salt Point Road in the former Village of Watkins water plant. He has successfully developed two upscale residential housing subdivisions: Honeysuckle Estates in the Town of Big Flats and Oak Hill Estates in the Town of Horseheads.
Bill is a retired hospital administrator from the Elmira Psychiatric Center. He is Chair of the Chemung Chamber of Commerce, and past treasurer of the Clemens Performing Arts Center. He serves as church Council President of the Park Church in Elmira.
He and his wife, Martha, are participating in the ballroom dance lessons with Reyman Clark at the Starlite Room with several friends.
Both Bill and Martha are excited to compete in the Dancing With Our Stars!
Martha is currently retired from the ECSD from her role as School Administrator. In her previous role, as School Counselor at Broadway Elementary School, she worked closely with the Elmira Rotary who sponsored and assisted in the development of the BES Build-A-Town Project. Build-A-Town was academically based and reached several grade levels at BES. Students were given the opportunity to apply their academic skills in real life businesses, banking (both personal and professional) and a variety of employment opportunities, including a weekly paycheck students transferred into paper currency they could place back in their bank accounts or spend during the Go-To-Town portion of the project.
Originally from Lowville, NY, a great community in the foothills of the Adirondacks, and a resident of the Southern Tier, for the past 38 years, Martha has enjoyed being a member of the Elmira Community. As a Mom of two, daughter Maggie and son Seth Benedict, she has been involved with the Southern Tier Community on many levels including owner of the Wooly
Bear, originally located in Elmira Heights, currently a member of Delta
Kappa Gamma and has been involved with The Park Church for over 25 years.
The Benedict’s appreciate the pleasure to return the favor to the Community and to the
Rotarians, by assisting the Rotarians’ special event, Dancing With Our Stars. All proceeds won by Martha and Bill will be given to their charity of choice....The Lupus Foundation...in honor of their very supportive friends.
Come join in the Fun on October 22, 2011!

Reyman Clark
Co-Owner of
The Starlite Room.
Reyman Clark started Ballroom
Dance Lessons with Studio 1262 Ballroom Dance
Academy in January 1990.
After achieving
Full Silver, he not only remained a student, but
in September 2003 he became an instructor
with Studio 1262 Ballroom Dance Academy.
Teaching Ballroom Dancing has
given Reyman the opportunity to meet many
wonderful people in our community. He enjoys
watching them progress as Dancers and feels
their pride equally as they are dancing, smiling
and having fun!
This passion for
dance was the driving force for Reyman, and his
partner David Ripley, Sr., to open The Starlite
Room. In April 2007 they opened their doors.
What they didn't know at the time was that The
Starlite Room would become more than a place to
dance. The Starlite room now provides a
multitude of entertainment in a metropolitan
atmosphere.
He chose the Children's
Miracle Network because two of his nephews have
benefited from the Arnot Ogden NICU.
If you have not had the chance to experience a
great place to hang out and relax or looking for
a place to host a party, The Starlite Room with
Reyman and David has got to be on your list.
