Kellie Meyer and Ben Wilcox are thrilled to be a part of the Dancing with Our Stars team. They are fairly new to the area, Kellie joined WENY News in March and Ben in May. They have been the best of friends since, working on the 11PM News together.

Ben is the 11PM anchor, Kellie was the reporter but is now the Good Morning Twin Tiers Anchor. Ben is from Cranston, Rhode Island and a recent graduate of the University of Hartford.

Kellie is from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and a 2011 graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia.

Both have a passion for news and have loved being a part of WENY and the community here.

They look forward to dancing for you and raising money for two great charities, CASA of the Southern Tier and The Food Bank of the Southern Tier.

David Ripley was trained as dance instructor at The Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Elmira.
He was certified to teach through Dance Masters of America.
After a few years he opened his own dance studio, Ripley's School of Dance.

David served as Ballroom Chairman on the Board of Directors for Dance Masters of America for five Years.
Presently David owns and operates Studio 1262 Ballroom Dance Academy in Elmira Heights and currently has six instructors on staff. David also is co-owner of the Starlite Room in Elmira Heights.

Kellie Meyer: Food Bank of the Southern Tier
Mission Statement: "No one should go hungry. The Food Bank of the Southern Tier commits itself to being the leading hunger-relief organization in the Southern Tier of New York State. We will distribute quality food through our network of hunger-relief agencies, develop innovative programs and expand local, community, statewide and national partnerships."

Ben Wilcox: CASA of the Southern Tier
A Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer is a trained citizen who is appointed by a judge to represent the best interests of abused and neglected children in Family Court. The CASA program provides children with a CASA Volunteer, who speaks for that child in court. CASA Volunteers receive special training in advocacy.

David: Children's Miracle Network
Children's Miracle Network saves the lives of children by raising funds and awareness for children's hospitals and foundations throughout North America.
