Q: Are my votes tax
deductible?
A: Yes. We are a 501(c)3 organization. Voters that contribute
more than $250 (can be a total of multiple votes to multiple Stars)
will receive a tax acknowledgement of contributions letter from the
Rotary Club of Elmira Charitable Fund, Inc.
Ticket sales are not tax deductible
Q: How do I become a
dancer next year?
A: E-mail your contact information and why you want to participate
to
dancing@elmirarotary.org.
Q: Does the vote tally change
automatically when you make a contribution or is it updated by an
individual at a later time?
A: The vote tally is updated within 5 minutes of the vote
being submitted. We use
Donations
Tracker and Paypal for voting.
Q: How do I become a corporate sponsor?

Q: What prizes are the dancers competing for?
A: Dance pairs compete for the following prizes:
- Most Overall Votes: $1,000 for charity of choice
- Most Votes at Performance: $1,000 for charity of
choice
- Judges Choice: $1,000 for charity of choice
All other celebrities and dance instructors receive $100 for charity
of their choice.
Q: Is it safe to vote online?
A: Yes. We use PayPal for all online secure financial transactions.

Q: How do I vote by mail?
A: To Vote By Mail:
1. Make check payable to “Rotary Club of Elmira Charitable Fund”
2. Indicate in memo section of the check who the votes are for.
3. Mail to:

Q: When someone buys a ticket, how does that count as a vote?
A: The evening of the Finale Event there will be voting stations set up for each dance team, at that
time the attendee will take their ticket to whomever dance team they are supporting and cast a vote for that team, the ticket will be marked at that point
so it can not be used to vote again. Audience members will also be
able to cast additional votes for their favorite dance team as well.
Remember, $1 equals 1 vote.
Q: Can seats be saved or reserved for
group/family/friends at the event?
A: No. In order to be fair to all involved, we suggest that
someone get to the event early to save spots for your group should
you want to do that on your own. We can not reserve or save areas.

A: Lower Orchestra Level Rows A-M are held for VIP ticket holders. (

Q: How do I purchase an ad in the event program
to support my favorite dancer?
A:You can
purchase an ad online or you can fill out the
